There are four basic parts of Medical Care, and they are Parts A, B, C, and D. Parts A, B, and D covers doctors, hospital care, equipment, medical procedures, and prescription drugs. While C also divides into two categories; which are the Medicare Advantage Plan and the Medicare Supplement Insurance (also known as Medigap). Both types have their coverage, and you should be mindful on what you are going to choose. Here are what you should consider in choosing Medicare Advantage Plan over Medigap. Price
Some Medicare Advantage Health Plan could cover way lot more at a lower cost than a typical A, B and, D Medicare and an additional Medigap. People mostly choose Medicare advantage over any other parts, while getting insurance on a private insurance company that offers the same coverage that you will get when applying on Parts A, B, and D, from other company. Understand What Suits You Engaging on any Medicare Plans depends on what you need and what coverage you could benefit more. Some plans have benefits that are not necessary for you and your family’s way of living. If you are to choose between Medicare Advantage and Medigap you should be able to identify what suits you and your lifestyle. A licensed insurance provider must be able to tell you what plan is for you; it wouldn’t hurt to ask one. Specific Specialists or Hospitals Medicare Advantage plans will mostly limit you to hospitals and facilities within their specific category. If your health requires a particular specialist and request special needs, ask or see on which coverage the plan included, to help you on selecting. With proper knowledge between the plans, choose the right one that is suitable for you. But figuring and understanding Medicare isn’t a do-it-yourself kind of thing. It really wouldn’t hurt if you would rely on those who have specialties and are professionals on this field. Or if you are not into getting help from a licensed insurance provider, maybe you should research your decision and take notes of the costs, what suits you, and if it would benefit you and not turn your money and hard works into waste. Thanks for the advice about choosing a medical plan that will cover your necessities, so one should be wise and choose one according to your needs. My aunt has diabetes, and she needs to get supplement insurance to cover for the rest of her diabetes supplies because she needs it for the supplier she found. I will pass her the info to my cousin so hey can help her choose the right supplemental insurance and plan to cover her equipment.

Thanks for sharing that to determine if we are paying too much for our medigap, it is best that we consult with a professional. It makes sense as that way, we can be certain that we are paying the right amount. I will definitely look into it more.

Thank you for explaining that Medicare Advantage coverage could cover way lot more at a lesser cost. That's probably why my mother wants to get a Medicare Advantage plan. I should advise her to look for an insurer that can offer the coverage she needs.
